Going out? Make it safer….

Before you go out…..

Try & have something to eat before you start your drinking
Inform someone (parent, best friend) where you're going
Avoid clubbing alone
Plan your night out including how to get home
Appoint a ‘drink watcher'
Check your contraception – you never know when you'll get lucky!

When you're out…...

Try and alternate alcoholic drinks with non-alcoholic
Don't share or exchange drinks
Don't leave your drink unattended
Don't accept drinks from people you don't know
Try not to buy in rounds
Don't use unlicensed cabs
Stick with your friends
Try not to mix alcohol with too much sun

Overdone the drinking?

Try to have at least 2 days alcohol free
Try to eat a healthy diet
Get plenty of rest
Take plenty of fluids (non-alcoholic)
Keep caffeine to a minimum – it will dehydrate you
